z FAQ - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
This FAQ tries to answer all your questions in advance. If there's a question left that is not answered on this page, please consider asking me by writing an email. I will get back to you as soon as possible and add the question to this FAQ.
Who are you?
My name is shiricki, I am the artist of the artwork that you can purchase on kyaaa.biz. If you would like to read more about me, have a look at this page, there's more information about me.
Will there be watermarks printed on the artwork?
No, "Copyright by shiricki - kyaaa.biz preview" will not be part of the print, poster, canvas or any other artwork you buy from me. The artwork will come completely "clean" from it. I have to add this note because history has sadly taught me there are a few sticky paws out there, who like to take images without asking. This is just a try to avoid this happening.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes, I do combine shipping. I will find the cheapest and most secure way to send the purchased artwork to your home. I do not make extra money on shipping. I guarantee that you will only pay for the actual shipping cost and handling. Please note that I always ship prints seperately to avoid damage during the shipping process. I do not combine them with other products.
Do you produce the prints or posters yourself at home?
No. All prints are photo quality, printed on high gloss photo paper. Posters are printed on very strong paper in very high resolution. I order all prints & posters from a reliable printing company to achieve highest quality results. Please note that I do not print them myself at home.
May I reproduce or redistribute your work?
No, please do not reproduce or redistribute any artwork without written permission of shiricki. All artwork, ideas and characters are Copyright © by shiricki. All Rights Reserved.
May I alter your image after I bought it?
Please do not alter or change any artwork created by me even after you have bought it. I appreciate your enthusiasm, however the copyright is still owned by me.
Are your items washable?
Clothing (hats, shirts, armwarmers) are washable; accessories (charms and bracelets) are waterproof. Prints are not (I am working on washable prints already, believe me ^.~). As for the items that are washable: please handwash them seperately and very carefully with a tiny bit of fabric softener only. Shirts are washable in a washing machine, 30° degree, please do not put them into a dryer just to make sure the print remains as new. All my items are colorfast and won't fade because of water or sunlight.
How can I pay?
You can pay with Paypal from all over the world. Paypal is secure, easy and fast. I use this reliable service since years and never considered problems with them. If you live in Germany you can also pay by bank transfer.
I do not usa Paypal, what can I do ?
If you want to take the risk, you can send me money via snail mail. But I recommend that you send it unsured. Payments via snail mail are completely at your own risk, if it gets lost in mail, I cannot take responsibility for that. I will ask you to send me Euro instead of Dollars. Do not worry I will calculate at the actual rate of the day you order, os you do not have to worry about it.
Is there another way to pay you?
If you don't like to send money via snail mail to me, there's a new way to pay me since August 2008. It's called Minarin Shopping Service - this site is officially affiliated with kyaaa.biz. You can easily use this service, especially useful for customers (in USA or Canada) without credit card or PayPal account. It is very simple and easy. Read more about how it works here.
Do you trade (your item for one of mine)?
I recently get this question pretty often, so I'll add this to the FAQ. Generally I accept trades. However I am pretty picky about what I accept as offer. You can try offering something made by yourself, but please do not get upset, if what your offer is not what I am looking for. I like trading and have done it before and it's fun. But it's only fun when both parties get a personal profit out of it :)
I payed, when will you ship?
Monday is my shipping date. That means every week on monday I will definitely ship all orders that have been payed until I go off to the post office. Occasionally I will ship more often than once a week only. You will be notified when your order has been shipped.
Will I have to pay customs, if I live abroad?
I will always mark the package as a "gift" when sending abroad, so there won't encumber any possible import charges. I will only do differently on demand only.
Where's my order?
After you have made your payment, I will immediately start organizing your order. As soon as your items have been wrapped and sent to you, you will be informed by email. Please allow 7-21 days of delivery, depending on your location.
I think my order got lost, what to do?
I highly recommend that you take insurance with any order you make. This ensures the package will be delivered savely. If it gets lost anyway there's the possibility of tracking to either get back the package or your money. If you did not take insurance, I am afraid there's nothing I can do. I am not responsible for lost or damaged parcels that are not insured.
Can I still change my order anytime?
You can change your order until you have paid for it. That means you can add, remove or alter anything as you like it. Once you have paid, I will be processing your order and any change may create confusion. However if it's really really urgent, you can try contacting me and I'll do my best to change your order anyway.
Can I return [your item here]?
Because of hygienic reasons I cannot do that sadly. I would not like to resell "used" items and I cannot imagine you would like to receive such an item from me. This is no large store that keeps a stock of a hundred of items. But I can guarantee that there won't be a reason or need to return anything. Most items are created on demand and I always ask for your size or preferences. No damaged or insufficient prodcts will leave my home and I am happy to say that up to this date no one ever wanted to return anything to me. However if there is something to complain about, you can always email me and I will do all my best to satisfy your wishes.
Do you also deliver to [your country here]?
I do my best to deliver to any location you wish. I also guarantee that I will try to find the most secure and cheapest way to get your order to your home. There's no country I refuse to deliver. Check out the shipping cost page for shipping rates.
I do not like your pricing.
Please note that everything on this site is handmade by myself. Everything, the slightest piece. I am no factory. I work alone with love and patience and compared to the work I put into all my art, it is not that much after all. It pays me even less than for my other job I get payed per hour. I do this because it's fun and I want to offer something to the world. When buying from me, you get an original piece of art by me. No junk. And that's what my pricing stands for too. Sometimes it may seem high in numbers but you can also try to do something similar yourself and you'll soon realize how much work it is. :) Try it and show me your creation and maybe you'll see how much it's worth to do something yourself, so you'll appreciate my handmade creations and want one of these too.
