 |
|
Name: shiricki
Birthday: August 15th, 1982
Location: Wonderland & Germany
More about me: shiricki.net & angelic-trust.net
Interests: perceiving and creating art, my bunnies, anime & manga, graphic & web design, children's books, movies, toys, making my friends happy.
Inspiration: I draw my inspiration out of literally anything. The most inspiring persons for me are Gillian Anderson and Julianne Moore. Most of my art is powered by a lot of coffeine and sugar.
Art: Creating any kind of art has a very sedative effect on me, almost like meditation, it's better than yoga.
Quick me: I am ... an artist and student, creative, imaginative, reliable, manic, tidy, compulsive, moody, caring, advertent, open-minded, a bunny sometimes.

About myself
I would not consider me as very self-centered but I should introduce myself to you at least. It's polite after all, since you visited this page. I am a female artist from Germany but I am living in Wonderland currently. I draw since I can hold a pencil. Sometimes I ask myself if I had one in my hand when I was born. Art has been in my life all the time. Any minute of my freetime I actually create something. I love to be occupied.
A little shiricki art history
As a child I was drawing constantly. My favorite subject at school was art ever since. Around 2000, there was a time in my life I did not draw very much, I switched to webwork. Like designing and creating websites and layouts as well as studying coding and scripting. I really did a lot of webdesign during these years but I missed drawing very very much. I also started to create original Photoshop brushes and offer them at downloads (you can still get them at angelic-trust.net). 2003 I started to study Japanese, English and Egyptology at university, so my time began to shrink drastically as well. I could only doodle and draw now and then. 2005 I got a job as a graphic freelancer at a Mobile Entertainment Firm. I am employed there still, doing Anime & Manga related graphics and animations. In 2006 when I had to study very hard for the mid-term exam for my Japanese studies, I needed drawing very much to relax and balance me. Around that time creating art got me back at its side, like I did a few years ago. I am a happpier person again. And I hope that my art makes you happy as well.
Shameless self promotion
Here are a few of the websites that I created.
