This FAQ tries to answer all your questions in advance. If there's a question left that is not answered on this page, please consider asking me by writing an email. I will get back to you as soon as possible and add the question to this FAQ.
Who are you?
My name is shiricki, I am the artist of the artwork that you can purchase on kyaaa.biz. I maintain and manage this site all by myself. If you would like to read more about me, have a look at this page, there's more information about me.
Do you use Facebook, Twitter & Co.?
Yes, I do use some of the social networks but not all of them. You can meet me offcially at Facebook, Twitter, DeviantArt, DaWanda, Etsy and VonDir. I do not own a MySpace account no StudiVZ or MeinVZ and do not plan to do so in the future. All contact possibilities you can find here.
May I reproduce, redistribute or resell your work?
No, please do not reproduce or redistribute any artwork without written permission of shiricki. All artwork, ideas and characters are Copyright © by shiricki. All Rights Reserved. Please do not change my work, also not after having purchased it. I appreciate your enthusiasm but the copyright remains by me. More information about copyright you can find here.
Do you produce the prints or posters yourself at home?
No. All prints are photo quality, printed on high gloss photo paper. Posters are printed on very strong paper in very high resolution. I order all prints & posters from a reliable printing company to achieve highest quality results. Please note that I do not print them myself at home.
Will there be watermarks printed on your artwork?
No, usually "Copyright by shiricki" or "kyaaa.biz preview" will not be part of an item you buy from me. I have to add this note because history has sadly taught me there are a few sticky paws out there, who like to take images without asking. This is just a try to avoid this happening.
Where do you order your buttons & magnets?
These are not ordered, these are all selfmade. I press each and every of them with my own hands. In case you want a motive of your choice, just contact me. I also press mirrors and keychains on demand.
Can I take your images and publish them on another website?
Actually I consider this action as positive support of my work as long as you do link www.kyaaa.biz visibly with the image you took. As long as you credit me - shiricki - as the original owner of the image and add the link to this website, I am totally okay with it any time. Please let me know when you do something like this, so I know where my image goes. In case you just rip my image, post it without credit or note, I am obviously not okay with it. Please always respect the work and copyright of others. Thank you very much.
Are your items washable or waterproof?
Clothing is washable in general. Please kindly read the laundry care information.
Accessories are usually waterproof. Please read what the product information says. All my items are colorfast and won't fade because of water or sunlight. Please protect print products from rain and water.
Do you combine shipping?
Yes, I do combine shipping. I will find the cheapest and most secure way to send your order to your home. I do not make extra money on shipping. I guarantee that you will only pay for the actual shipping cost and handling.
How can I pay?
You can pay with Paypal from all over the world. Paypal is secure, easy and fast. I use this reliable service since years and never considered problems with them. If you live in Germany or Europe you can also pay via bank transfer.
I do not use Paypal, what can I do ?
If you want to take the risk, you can send me money via snail mail. But I recommend that you send it insured via registered airmail. Payments via snail mail are completely at your own risk, if it gets lost in mail, I cannot take responsibility for that. I will ask you to send me Euro instead of Dollars. Do not worry I will calculate at the actual rate of the day you order, so you do not have to worry about it.
Do you trade (your item for one of mine)?
I get this question pretty often, so I'll add this to the FAQ. Generally I accept trades. However I am pretty picky about what I accept as offer. You can try offering something made by yourself, but please do not get upset, if what your offer is not what I am looking for. I like trading and have done it before and it's fun. But it's only fun when both parties get a personal profit out of it :)
How long does it take until you ship?
I ship every day from monday till friday. Items that are in stock will be shipped quickly as soon as they are wrapped. Items that are made on demand need a few days of procuction. Occasionally I will ship saturdays too. You will be notified when your order has been shipped.
How long does it take until my item is made?
In case you order something on demand (hats, clothing etc.) please allow up to 3-5 days of production. On christmas time it could take a little longer. Commissions vary; depending on what it is. I will always do my best to be as fast as I can be.
Will I have to pay customs, if I live abroad?
For german and european residents there should not be a customs fee, since I pay the regular german tax fee already. In any case please check online if your country may charge you extra duty and customs fees. Each country differs so please make sure to check the customs website of your country before ordering. kyaaa.biz is not responsible for andy custom fees charged at any time.
Where's my order?
After you have made your payment, I will immediately start organizing your order. As soon as your items have been wrapped and sent to you, you will be informed by email. Please allow 5-14 days of delivery, depending on your location.
I think my order got lost, what to do?
In case you payed with Paypal there's a tracking information of your parcel in any case. So do not worry, we will track it. It will surely show up. If you wanted me to ship your parcel uninsured, I am afraid there's nothing I can do. I am not responsible for lost or damaged parcels that are not insured.
Can I still change my order anytime?
You can change your order until you have paid for it. That means you can add, remove or alter anything as you like it. Once you have paid, I will be processing your order and any change may create confusion. However if it's really really urgent, you can try contacting me and I'll do my best to change your order anyway.
What is your return policy?
I accept returns on items that are not made especially for you. If the item is in unused perfect condition, you can send it back for a full refund (excluding shipping cost) within two weeks of receiving it. kyaaa.biz is not responsible for shipping costs for returns or edited orders. Commissions or items made for you on demand in your prefered size, cannot be returned. However do not worry, there won't be a reason or need to return anything. Items on demand are sewed very carefully and will fit in any way. No damaged or insufficient products will leave my home. However if there is something to complain about, you can always email me and I will do all my best to satisfy your wishes.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship worldwide. I do my best to deliver to any location you wish. I also guarantee that I will try to find the most secure and cheapest way to get your order to your home. There's no country I refuse to deliver. Check out the shipping cost page for shipping rates.
How are your prices made?
Everything here is 100% handmade. All items are produced in small editions. I want to offer something unique and extraordinary and no massproduced items. All this makes products pricy but you can always be sure to receive something very special. I never use cheap materials, everything is made of high qiality materials. I work all by myself with a lot of love for details and patience. Maybe you can imagine that handmade things not made in factories as massproduction are also more expensive when being created. However I think my pricing is fair after all. Do not forget that you will always receive a hiqh quality product handmade by me with love. :)
